The Tobacco Vault

Originally a 1926 icebox / refrigerator, I picked this cabinet up from a church rummage sale for $40.

After a lot of sanding, stripping and re-painting I am very pleased with the result.

The large door on the left was originally the fridge side, and was left almost entirely unaltered. The original shelving is now used for pipe tobacco jars and storage.

The smaller upper door on the right is being lines with cedar, and separate cigar aging drawers are going to be installed. Wehn finished, it should be able to accommodate 350 sticks.

The lower right door is used for general supplies and storage.

Update 7-2019: The pipe side finally got some drawers installed for better access and organization
